uDig¶

uDig stands for User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS and provides Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities to the application you are using.

The uDig Project is an open source collaboration responsible for:

• uDig SDK: The uDig Software Developers Kit is used as a starting point for custom GIS applications
• uDig : The uDig Desktop Client is an example application used to demonstrate some of the capabilities of the uDig SDK
• Training and Support for the above technologies are available from a range of suppliers on our website
