Slip¶
The SLIP portal is a great collection of Australian spatial information brought together by Landgate in western australia. This portal is a showcase of how governments at all levels can collaborate to make information available to the public.

Tile Servers¶
An experimental WMS-C service (use the Add Layer menu for this one drag and drop will not work): http://beta.landgate.wa.gov.au/tilecache/?REQUEST=GetCapabilities&SERVICE=WMS&tiled=true
Using SLIP Services¶
To access these services you will need to register at the SLIP portal.
- From uDig click on any of the above links (or drag and drop one of the above links from your web browser to uDig)
- Enter the username/passowrd used to access the SLIP portal when prompted by uDig
